Travel

Traveling is one of my habit. I’d love being to  beautiful places and meeting different kinds of people. Hearing their different languages is a music to my hear.  I’d love to mimic their accents and intonations. Its kinda funny to hear doing it.

So far I have been to some beautiful places in Cebu and Bohol. I have also visited scenery which are not yet urbanized. The green environment, tempting crystal colored falls and springs are very relaxing. Sometimes it is good to visit places away from the  crowded city and indulge oneself with nature.

I have visited Antequera  Bohol recently with my college friends and explore the town’s beauty.

Antequera, Bohol

It lies in the western part of the island about 18.5 kilometers from Tagbilaran City, the capital of the province and the major growth center of Bohol. A population of 14,357 people is scattered all throughout an estimated land area of 8,205 hectares.

Nuestra Señora del Rosario Parish

It was founded in 1880. This blue and  white-painted church is relatively new and made largely of tabique pampango and other light material.

Mag-Aso Falls

Mag-aso falls derived its name from the Visayan term ‘aso,’ meaning smoke, which refers to the smoke effect created by the cascading waters.

Inambacan Cave and Spring

The cave and spring lie in the 7-hectare government property in Brgy. Villa Aurora. Inambacan Cave and Spring is truly a “must see” in the town of Antequera. A few meters downhill from a dirt road is the entrance to the Inambacan Cave. The cave entrance sits above the Inambacan Spring.

Obong Spring

The Obong Spring is a fresh water spring which emanates near the beach. Because of steady outpour of water, a pool of freshwater meets the sea especially when the tide is high and the water become brackish. So, that’s the explanation behind such mystery.
